Firm Manager
For more than 20 years, Mindi has played an instrumental role in building and growing Parrish Law Firm alongside her husband, attorney and firm founder James “Jim” Parrish. Since opening the firm together in April 2004, Mindi has been a driving force in shaping its operations, culture, and commitment to exceptional client service.
Born and raised in Northern Virginia, Mindi comes from a large, close-knit family where hard work, loyalty, and taking care of others have always been important values. She and Jim met in 1996 and married in 2001, just a few years before starting the firm. Today, their daughter Sadi is a college graduate and part of the Parrish Law Firm team, while their son Jimmy attends West Virginia University.
Before starting the firm, Mindi spent five years with USAA Insurance Company and served as Office Manager for her family’s business, Craig Van Lines. These experiences helped shape the hands-on, organized, and people-focused leadership style she brings to the firm today.
As Firm Manager, Mindi oversees daily operations, staff, systems, and procedures, ensuring the firm runs efficiently while maintaining a personal approach to client service. She also serves as one of the firm’s closers, assisting clients through the final stages of their cases. Mindi takes particular pride in building a supportive team and ensuring clients feel valued, informed, and cared for.

Family remains at the heart of Mindi’s life. Over the years, Jim coached dozens of seasons of youth sports, with Mindi proudly serving as the “team mom.” Many of the families they met became lifelong friends.
Outside the office, Mindi enjoys boating, traveling, crafting, football, family dinner nights, and spending time with loved ones. After more than two decades of building a law firm and raising a family alongside Jim, she believes the best things in life come down to family, teamwork, taking care of others and our community, and having some fun along the way.
