It sounds cliche but sometimes some things really are too good to be true, but are somehow true anyway. That is the case for Parish. I was struck by a car, had my life flipped upside down, and these angels turned it back over again. I contacted the Parrish Law Firm while my mother was still in the hospital. Mr. Parrish contacted me same day and thoroughly explained his processes and procedures which was very comforting. Zuly did the intake and was very nice, professional and responded promptly to text messages and emails. Stephanie Moran is the paralegal handling my mother's case and has been excellent. I appreciate the thoroughness and the communication by email and text messages considering that the situation happened in Virginia but my mother resides in another state. Despite having worked in a law firm for many years, I was extremely nervous and hesitant to contact one on my own behalf. I was involved in a dog attack (both my dog and I sustained injuries), and I hesitantly reached out to The Parrish Law Firm. I am happy to have found Jim Parrish's law firm. Jim and his helpful staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. When I ended up in an accident on May 22, 2004, I contacted a law firm that had handled a previous case for me in 2010. This firm, who had won my case in 2010 by the way, decided there was no case with my current accident.I was injured, my vehicle damaged, I didn't know what to do. After a few days of pondering, I decided to try contacting another firm. I was fortunate that Jim Parrish answered the phone. Jim Parrish, Mindi Parrish and Maria Raviela are an amazing group of lawyers to work with. After I got T-boned on a green light resulting in a total. Jim was able to help me the entire way through, Maria kept me up to date with any information they needed vice versa, Mindi helped me get in touch and navigate our meetings where it aligned with our schedules. I ended up with more than I asked more which is always a good thing, my medical bills and all surrounding bills from the accident were able to be paid off with no issue. They secured a great settlement for me, and their efficiency throughout the process was impressive.One of the standout aspects was the personalized touch—they sent small care packages while I waited for the settlement, which added a thoughtful and professional touch to the experience.That said, although the outcome was excellent, the legal fees were quite steep. Having now dealt with criminal, family, and personal injury matters, I feel confident in managing similar cases on my own in the future. Parrish law firm was great to work with! James is so kind and explained everything easily and set realistic expectations for what I should expect. They were able to walk me through the process easily. With the use of email and text messages they updated me frequently about where my claim was in the process. Awesome firm, I got the lead man himself to call back and not somebody taking notes, sadly my case wasn't something they do but he actually spent time over the phone to advise me on what to do, that's something you don't see to much. I cannot express enough how much Jim has helped my husband and me on 2 separate occasions. First he helped my husband with a hit and run back in 2015. And then helpers me in 2022 with an accident. I had a difficult case where the other parties insurance wouldn't give me a penny after the car accident! I was under a lot of stress, and so I hired Mr. Parrish to help with with my case. At the first meeting I met up with Stephanie Ayala (the case manager) who explained very clearly what I should do on my part, and what Parrish Law Firm will do on their part. James Parrish and Stephanie kept me updated every single step of the way. James Parrish treated me as though I were his only client, and was very responsive to my calls and emails. My daughter was involved in a fairly serious automobile accident for which she was at fault. As she is on my policy, I was concerned about my personal exposure in the event of a lawsuit. Reached out to Parrish Law Firm after having an extremely bad fall at Lowe’s and being angry that they did not follow up as promised to a) enquire how I was and b) discuss replacement of my glasses which were irrevocably damaged. Mr Parrish offered legal and professional advice even though it didn’t benefit him, but was in the best interest of the client. We recently called him and he said that we could go forward, but the cost of it would probably outweigh the benefit and would not be what we were anticipating. This was all done without costing us initial legal fees.In addition, we previously used Mr Parrish for an accident where some other lawyers would not offer us advice due to the nature of timing associated with how long the case drug on with the insurance company. Not only was he able to assist us with the claim, but exceeded our expectations in recouping damages associated with the accident. I consulted with Mr. Parrish’s law firm regarding a botched interventional radiology surgery called ‘Pelvic Ovarian Vein Coil Embolization’. I had the surgery supposedly to avoid having a hysterectomy and the exact opposite happened and much more. Mr. Parrish spoke at length with me regarding my situation, but he wasn’t able to pursue the case due to many medical factors and resulting surgeries. I was recommended to Mr. Parrish by my grandmother when I got into my car accident in the beginning of this year. I was having problems with the other parties insurance company, going back and forth between adjusters, and dealing with my medical bills as well. While speaking to the insurance adjuster I told him that I would need to go back to the doctor considering I was still in pain from the accident at which point he told me that the insurance company is not responsible for paying my medical bills and offered me less than half of what I already owed for my portion of my medical bills! I immediately contacted Mr. Parrish and told him my story and he stepped in right away. I had been dealing with the insurance company for almost 2 and a half months and Mr. Parrish resolved all matters within a couple of days. Mr. Parrish made sure that all my medical bills were taken care of AND the time I had missed from work was compensated for. I am MORE than satisfied with the services and help that he has provided. I will definitely be recommending Mr. Parrish to all of my friends and family.

After my car accident I was devastated. My head injury was severe and I had to go through many months of therapy to learn how to stop stuttering, to regain balance while walking, and to manage all the body twitches and tremors I would have to endure. Overall a great experience working with Mr. Parrish, he was very transparent regarding fee's and costs, and despite the months length of my case, he remained true to his word in the end with no costly surprises. Stephanie was also kind and helpful. The only constructive feedback I would offer is that there were parts of the process that were not well communicated, that broke down the legal jargon or for instance, why my son was not included in the case, and I wish that was more clear. I like to have all the details upfront, and felt I had to chase information or repeat the same details in order to make sure all aspects of my concerns were addressed. As with any legal situation, you do have to advocate for yourself and make sure your lawyer is aware of all of your needs to avoid miscommunication. So, I believe this self advocacy is not just required for this firm, but I would argue for any legal context. Overall, whats most important is that Mr. Parrish was true to his word and honest about what we should expect and the costs. If you are an active duty or retired service member and you are looking for a law firm that leads with integrity and holds the responsible party accountable, this is the law firm for you. About two years ago, I was in a serious accident, where my car was rear ended and completely totaled by someone who was reaching for their cellphone. I subsequently rear ended another vehicle caring a baby, mother and aunt due to this driver's negligence. Bad part about this is when I attempted to work it out with his insurance company, they gave me the run around for 8 months. That's when I contacted James Parrish and his professional staff who quickly sprang into action and got me what I deserved to not only pay for medical expenses but the pain and suffering and paranoia that obviously comes along with a life threatening ordeal of this nature. Mr. Parrish got back to me right away after contacting his office. Our case was complicated as we had a collision with a U.S. mail truck and they cannot be sued, but they were at fault. Mr. Parrish said he had experience with them and he could handle it, and he did! I was compensated for my loss of vehicle, medical expenses and pain and suffering. It took awhile, but he kept us informed and updated regularly during the whole procedure. His entire office staff is kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Hope we never have to, but would use him again, no question!

I sincerely appreciated having Law Firm as my representation. My accident occurred on 14 May 2021 and I feel like I was quite lucky to only have been slightly injured. I never approached this incident with money as the goal; I was only concerned about being protected. The initial offer from the other rider's insurance company, had I taken it, would have put me into a bad situation, as I would have been liable for several thousand dollars in medical bills. This law firm could do nothing for me, and that’s exactly what they should have done. Long story short: They could have taken on my case, but instead of attracting a client for an easy money grab, they informed me of what I might do instead, and although they didn’t get my business, they made life easier. Because they didn’t try to get an easily settled case for the sake of adding to the coffers, I am confident that if or when I do need good legal assistance they WILL be my firm of choice.

I came to Mr. Parrish because of injuries sustained in an auto accident where the other party left the scene. I had never dealt with an attorney before so I was very nervous, but I filled out the form on his website and he quickly responded, setting up a time where we could talk on the phone. After our initial consultation he put my mind at ease and I really felt taken care of. After I filled out the initial paperwork, his office handled everything. Mr. Parrish and his assistant Ms. Lista were always available for questions and "kept me in the loop" every step of the way, and after filling suit, Mr. Parrish effectively negotiated a very fair settlement. I would recommend them to anyone. It is very clear that he cares about his clients.

I was reluctant about proceeding with legal action for a personal injury as a result of a bike accident caused by another bicyclist. I contacted Jim Parrish and he talked to me at length about how such legal action would proceed if I was to decide to do so. No pressure was applied. Once I decided to do so, I contacted the office. We met at the office and all pertinent data that they needed from me was turned over. I was then told how and when the legal action would occur.
