Richmond, VA – July 30 – A young woman was killed Sunday night in a fatal hit-and-run accident.
According to official reports by wtoc.com, the accident occurred around 10 p.m. near Huguenot Bridge.
Lane Kruszewski, 24, was riding her bicycle on River Road when a hit-and-run vehicle crashed into her.
Police arrived and found Kruszewski with “severe head trauma.” She was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Investigators believe the vehicle involved was possibly a Jeep Cherokee or a Dodge Durango. They are continuing to look for more information on the hit-and-run driver.

According to official reports by NBC12.com, Desi Arnaz Thompson almost died in the accident that took place on Midlothian Turnpike last October.
Since the incident, he fell into a coma and it was determined that he suffered brain injuries from the accident.
Little Desi had to relearn how to walk, talk and eat again. His mother said he went from being an honor roll student to a special ed student and that learning to walk again has been extremely challenging.
Officials said the driver from the accident has still not been caught. Police urge anyone with information regarding the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
