Hurricane Sandy Responsible for Fatal Car Crash in Richmond

November 1, 2012 by Parrish Law Firm, PLLC

Hurricane Sandy’s extreme weather caused dangerous driving conditions that caused a fatal accident in Richmond, reports NBC12.com. The driver, Michael Overton, was trying to make a left hand turn off the Martin Luther King Jr. Bridge when his vehicle lost control and hit a light pole, according to investigators.

Both Overton and his passenger were ejected from the vehicle. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and Fordham was taken to VCU Medical Center and passed away later that day.
