Target Recalls Children’s Fleece Due To Lead Concerns

October 22, 2012 by Parrish Law Firm, PLLC

Target is recalling over 6,000 children’s fleece jackets and fleece shirts, according to ConsumerReports.com. Due to unacceptable levels of lead found in the zippers, Target is asking that all consumers who have bought the recalled fleece with Disney characters on them return the items to a store for a full refund.

High levels of lead can be very harmful to children and can lead to health issues including anemia, kidney damage, and brain damage, among others.
